Opera 12.50 introduces nested @media blocks

Somewhere down the middle of the changelog for opera 12.50 you may spot the introduction of Nested @Media Blocks, an initial step towards the support for the CSS3 Conditional Rules Module.

I, for one, am looking forward to the evolution of CSS; it seems the standard is accelerating and becoming more agile, incorporating ideas and concepts from the community (eg: nested blocks sure feels like something that came out of the CSS extensions/pre-processors like Less, but it’s just one example).

Other nifty features from Opera 12.50: support for the Fullscreen API, the intriguing <ol reversed> attribute, and SPDY support.

Image credit to Opera, of course.
